DESCRIPTION:
French, Early 20th Century, MYSTERIOUS timepiece, two gilt hands attached to a large glass dial. A Swiss watch movement in each hand, one geared to turn once an hour, the other designed to turn once in 12 hours. See detail fotos of movement and also pivoted counter balance on opposite side of hand.
CONDITION:
overall good original condition. A small nut that belongs on the center pivot has gotten lost, but easily replaced by a watchmaker. Also the movements are wound with a small male type square key through the end of each hand, and that key has gotten lost. Ht 25"
